Little Rock-Centennial Chapter members hosted Bingo Night at Towbin VA Healthcare Center in North Little Rock. This event held on February 15, 2024, was part of the National Salute to Veteran Patients Week. In addition to helping with Bingo and passing out snacks, our members also gave out Fidget Pillows which had been donated. It was hard to tell who had more fun – our members for the veterans.
Once again, we had a great turn-out for our December meeting. It was a wonderful mixture of members and guests. One of our own did an outstanding job presenting on the 250th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. She also gave prizes for those who answered Boston Tea Party trivia questions.
Little Rock-Centennial members came out in full force to help celebrate the Old State House Open House on December 3, 2023. Once again, our Chapter contributed cookies for the event.
Congratulations to one of our own for being selected for this award for the State of Arkansas – only one person per state is selected each year. Way to go!
Several chapter members attended this years Continental Congress. Looks like a ton of fun!
